Based on the animated series Star Trek: Prodigy broadcast on Nickelodeon, the game Star Trek Prodigy: Supernova has just shared a first trailer.
A whole universe to explore
Published by Outright Games and developed by Tessera Studios, this new title obviously features the characters from the series mentioned above and will even see the voice actors of these protagonists resume their roles. You will thus follow a group of teenagers evolving in an abandoned ship of the Federation sheltering the hologram of Captain Janeway. Here is the official description of the game:
After the USS Protostar picks up strange data from a dying star, Dal and Gwyn must race against time to save their friends, their ship, and an entire planetary system before a supernova strikes. destroy them all! Using their unique skills to overcome ingenious puzzles, endure harsh environments, and battle armies of deadly robots, Dal and Gwyn must rescue their captured teammates Jankom Pog, Rok-Tahk, Zero, and Murf. But they soon encounter a deadly new enemy, who will stop at nothing to destroy the USS Protostar and change the course of history!
Other information has also been revealed since the game will be playable in solo and in cooperation with two players, with the possibility of exploring many planets, each offering their enigmas, their hostile environments and their mysteries such as Orisi, Mirios and Taresse in particular.
This adventure will also lead you to establish various contacts with new extraterrestrial species in order to learn more about their history. You can even collect multiple iconic items from the Star Trek universe and use them to customize the Protostar to your liking.
Star Trek Prodigy: Supernova is therefore scheduled for October 14 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and Nintendo Switch.
