According to reports, BYD’s CTB battery body integration technology integrates the body floor with the battery upper cover, and the battery “sandwich” structure evolves into a vehicle “sandwich”, which makes the body and the blade battery more closely combined, and the torsional rigidity of the vehicle is improved by one percent. times, exceeding 40,000N m/°, comparable to a million-dollar luxury car.

The CTB technology also brings a better spatial structure to the vehicle, enabling the seal to adopt the four-drive architecture of front asynchronous motor + rear synchronous motor.The four-wheel-drive version can accelerate from zero to 100 in 3.8 seconds, making it the fastest model in BYD’s history.

BYD Seal is the world’s first mass-produced car equipped with CTB technology, and also the first model equipped with iTAC technology, rear-wheel drive/four-drive architecture, front double wishbone + rear five-link chassis suspension.
