In recent weeks, Star Wars fans have not been left out with the release of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga earlier this month and the port of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed yesterday on the Nintendo eShop. Switch (and our test is coming to the site very soon). There are still quite a few great Star Wars games that fans would love to see again, including Star Wars: Rogue Squadron. Aspyr in charge of previous Star Wars game ports does not say no…

The Star Wars: Rogue Squadron series was born in 1999 on Nintendo 64 and PC, then in 2002 and 2003, Nintendo GameCube owners were able to discover the excellent Star Wars Rogue Sqaudron II: Rogue Leader and Star Wars: Rogue Squadron III : Rebel-Strike. These titles allowed players to take command of the mythical ships of the Saga and help the rebels overcome the forces of the Empire. It must be said that these games were extremely popular at the time (and still today).

In this regard, a twittos by the name of Sam Schumacher asked Aspyr if there are any chances of seeing a port of Rogue Squadron appear. The response received is rather encouraging. Indeed, the answer given is that the members of the studio are big Star Wars fans and love bringing Star Wars games to new audiences. Ports are made from games they think players are most passionate about. The ports will be made if the demand is there.

In short, if you want to see a port of Star Wars: Rogue Squadron, you know what you have to do.
