Israeli air force jets and Palestinian militants traded fire on Thursday, in scenes reminiscent of a major escalation last year that claimed hundreds of lives – mainly Palestinian. Palestinian militants in the coastal area fired rockets at the border zone late on Wednesday and early Thursday, according to the Israeli army.
