IT House April 21 news, according to MacRumors reports, citing the “Guardian”, Apple is planning to expand the communication security features in its iMessage messages to the United Kingdom and Canada.apple iPhone Communication Security in Messages was introduced in the iOS 15.2 update released last December, but the feature was previously limited to the US.

Communication Security in Messages is designed to scan incoming and outgoing iMessage images on children’s devices for nudity and warn them that such photos can be harmful. If nudity is detected in a photo received by a child, the photo will be blurred and the child will receive help from child safety organisations. Nudity in photos sent by children can trigger warnings, encouraging children not to send images.

This communication security feature is optional, privacy-focused, and must be enabled by a parent. It is limited to children’s accounts, is detected on the device, and has nothing to do with the anti-CSAM feature Apple is developing and may release in the future.
