Unicom Tongxin and China Unicom Huasheng developed 5G eSIM products to support China Unicom dual-mode networking

IT House reported on April 21st, according to Tsinghua Unigroup, Tsinghua Unicom and Unicom Huasheng successfully developed a 5G eSIM card product, which is the first Unicom 5G eSIM in China that supports 5G profile download, SA and NSA dual-mode networking product.

According to reports, the 5G eSIM products jointly developed by Tsinghua Unicom and China Unicom Huasheng are highly integrated with hardware protection capabilities and terminal software support capabilities.Support 5G profile download, fully compatible with the existing China Unicom SA&NSA dual hybrid networking mode.

In terms of security, the product supports international and national encryption algorithms, adopts memory encryption storage, bus encryption storage and other technologies, has the international CC EAL6 + security certification qualification, has passed the commercial encryption product certification, and meets the requirements of GM / T008 “Security Chip Password” In terms of reliability, the product has a large user space, the number of times of erasing and writing is up to 500,000 times, the data retention time is up to 25 years, and the operating temperature is as wide as – 40℃~105℃, with AEC-Q100 certification, it can cope with extreme harsh environments calmly and greatly improve the stability of communication equipment; at the same time, the power consumption of this product is much lower than that of similar products at home and abroad, and the advanced technology can greatly reduce the terminal area.

IT House learned that the product has passed the test of China Unicom’s 5G eSIM platform, and also complies with the GSMA international standard system.
