Today is the big April update for Amazon Game Studios Lost Ark. Some of the highlights are the introduction of the new class “Lance Bearer” and the new continent of South Vern. The Central European servers will be shut down from nine in the morning and maintenance and updates will theoretically be announced for the next eight hours, although it is usually much faster.
The Lance Bearer (Glaivier) is a dangerous martial artist who will have two core abilities to switch between. Focus allows for a barrage of quick slashes with a short spear, while the longer lance is used for powerful deadly attacks. Either or both attack types can be used depending on the build, but the developers recommend a combination of the abilities for the most efficient Spearman.

The world of Arkesia will also be expanded to include the continent of South Vern. Of course, this offers new quests, dungeons and bosses. South Vern is a normally peaceful area that many industrious settlers, using alien technology, have turned into a place with plenty of water and established pastures. Due to North Vern’s troubles, we and Avele are tasked with investigating South Vern. The developers are already spoiling an “epic battle” that can change the future of Arkesia. Like Punika, South Vern is a Tier 3 continent that requires at least an item level of 1,340.
In addition to these innovations, a Battle Pass will be introduced with the Ark Pass. This is intended to give players the opportunity, just by playing Lost Ark to get new meaningful rewards. The regular Ark Pass is free and offers some perks like Pirate Coins, a mount, and Material Selection Chests, but there are Premium and Super Premium Passes for even more rewards for 1,500 and 3,000 Royal Crystals respectively. These offer e.g. B. more grinding materials, gems and a pet and should be available until 06/18. be available in the in-game store.
