rock star supposed to be on one for a few years Read Dead Redemption Remake and on one Next-gen update for Red Dead Redemption 2 work. As early as 2020 we reported, among other things, about leaks, according to which the “Outlaws Collection” should appear on the Playstation 5 and the Xbox Series consoles. While there hasn’t been any official confirmation of this project from Rockstar since then, rumors surrounding the Outlaws Collection continue to circulate from time to time. The French video game journalist Chris Klippel has now commented on Twitter about this. Apparently, due to the remaster of part 1, the often mentioned next-gen update for the second part is said to have been delayed. However, the project should continue to exist, but not under the name Outlaws Edition.

Red Dead Redemption on PC

Klippel’s comments on a possible PC port of the remaster are particularly interesting. Klippel claims to have noticed that Rockstar is also said to be working on a PC version of the Red Dead Redemption remaster. However, Klippel does not classify the source behind this information as reliable enough to give it unreserved credence.

Although Read Dead Redemption 2 was released on PC, the original was only released for consoles. The first part of the series was also never re-released for modern systems like the Playstation 5 or the Xbox Series consoles. So fans have to switch to either the Playstation 3 or the downward compatible Xbox Series consoles. Just a few months ago we reported on how much graphic potential there was in Read Dead Redemption. Accordingly, a remaster of the first part and a graphic update of the second part in one bundle would be promising.
