IT Home has learned that the Transcend JetDrive Lite 330 expansion card is made of NAND flash memory and can be connected to the MacBook Pro through the SD card slot, which can be flush with the side of the laptop. In terms of performance, this expansion card can provide read and write speeds of up to 95MB/s and 75MB/s. Officially, the storage space provided by this expansion card can be used as a photo library or music library.
Transcend says the JetDrive Lite expansion card comes with a five-year limited warranty and is manufactured using advanced COB (chip on board) technology, making it resistant to water, dust and shock. In addition to the 2021 MacBook Pro models, the JetDrive Lite 330 supports the 13-inch Retina MacBook Pro (Late 2012-Early 2015 models).
In terms of price, expansion cards with 1TB capacity start at $250 (about 1,605 yuan).
