Ikea has been selling smart home gadgets since 2016 when the Wireless system was introduced with a Zigbee gateway and connected LED lights. Since then, the system has been expanded with products in a number of categories such as blinds and air purifiers.
Now it looks like the original gateway model is on its way out of the range and will be replaced by a new model called Dirigera, reports Iphone ticker.
Pictures that are alleged to have leaked from Ikea show parts of the new model’s manual, where we can see a flatter, possibly slightly wider design that can be hung on the wall. It has sockets for usb and ethernet just like Wireless.
Another image that was previously on Ikea’s website also looks to reveal the new model, with a design that matches the one from the allegedly leaked manual.
