An Ocean County man with a learning disability and health issues has filed suit against the Dollar General Corporation, claiming he was fired from the Point Pleasant store for being “too slow” at his job as a stocking clerk. Eric Sica, 38, of Brick, said in court papers he disclosed during his job interview that he was born with spinal meningitis, a serious medical condition caused by an infection of the fluid membranes surrounding the brain and spinal cord.
