Mets ace Max Scherzer was diagnosed with a “moderate to high-grade” oblique strain Thursday morning that will keep him sidelined for six to eight weeks. Scherzer had removed himself in the middle of an Albert Pujols at-bat in Wednesday’s start vs. the Cardinals.
