Frameworks releases upgrade to modular laptop. Now available with the 12th generation Intel Core processor.

The modular laptop manufacturer Framework has updated its laptop and now offers this with the 12th generation Intel Core processor.

For those who have already acquired a laptop from Framework, it is also possible to upgrade the current laptop with a new motherboard with one of Intel’s processor models i5-1240P, i7-1260P or i7-1280P. The upgrade package also includes a new cover for the laptop that will be more stable than what was delivered with the previous generation of Framework’s modular laptop.

Frameworks laptop with the 12th generation Intel processor can be bought ready-built for between 1200 – 2340 euros, depending on which processor model you want. If you also want to assemble the computer yourself, the prices are 960 – 1780 euros. An upgrade package with a new motherboard and a new cover for the chassis costs from 590 euros to 1290 euros. If you just want to buy a new cover for the chassis, this costs 100 euros.
