Appointment was made for the new extension of World of Warcraft which has not said its last word, at a time when the business model of MMORPGs has completely changed. The title of Blizzard Entertainment acts as an exception and the announcement of this new expansion proves that the interest is still there and that the community, admittedly smaller than before, is still just as dedicated. For World of Warcraft Dragonflight, the developers offer us to return to Azeroth on the back of dragons. The players will unlock a dynamic new flight form and a drake companion with customizable appearance that they can train over the expansion to slash the skies more effectively. This will also be an opportunity to introduce other new features, in particular gameplay updates, with a new system for professions and crafts.
The game will indeed offer more freedom and depth in the development of the characters, knowing that the evocative dracthyrs will be present and can specialize in damage and attack their opponents from a distance with their breath, fangs and claws, or focus on healing, and strengthen their allies with the mystical gifts of dragons. Players who create evoker dracthyrs will be able to customize both their draconic avatar, devoted to combat, and the humanoid form that will allow them to communicate with the inhabitants of Azeroth. New in World of Warcraft Dragonflight
– Discover the Dragon Islands: As they climb to the new level cap, set at 70, players will discover the ancient wonders and secrets of the Dragon Islands across four brand new areas: the Shores of Awakening, bubbling with elemental power, the vast plains of Ohn’ahra, the icy peaks of the Azure Span, not to mention the majestic spiers and temples of Thaldraszus.
– New Playable Race and Class Combination: Players will be able to threaten their opponents (or empower their allies) as the Dracthyr Conjurer, the first character type in World of Warcraft to combine race and class. They will be able to customize their humanoid and dragon forms, and opt for the Alliance or the Horde before embarking on the adventure. They will also harness the power of dragons to focus on healing or focus on ranged attacks.
– Soar the Skies: Dragonflight makes its debut in Dragonflight, an all-new form of skill-based air travel that allows players to ride their very own Dragon Isles drake to cleave the skies. Players will be able to customize their drake as they progress through the expansion by unlocking new appearance options and abilities that will allow them to fly farther and faster.
– Redesigned talent system: With the new talent system, players will be able to make creative and original choices without losing efficiency, and more importantly, each level will offer them interesting options.
– Improved Professions: Crafting aficionados, this is for you! Dragonflight offers those who wish to excel in crafting a myriad of new features and tools to match their ambitions, including player-defined commands, new equipment for professions and a whole new specialization system.
– Reworked interface: Dragonflight modernizes the interface of World of Warcraft, the minimap and other elements see their appearance improved. New options also allow players to customize different aspects of the interface to their preferences.
