Frogwares, the creators of Sherlock Holmes and The Sinking City, have announced Project Palianytsia, a new mystery horror project. The final reveal of the title will take place over the course of the summer.
The Ukrainian development studio Frogwares today announced its latest project, “Project Palianytsia”, which is officially described as a mystery horror adventure. The setting of the title will be the Victorian era.
As stated in today’s announcement, the official unveiling of “Project Palianytsia” will not take place until summer of this year, but players are already promised that they can look forward to a title that scores with an exciting story and will confront her with numerous dark mysteries.
Frogwares has not yet revealed which platforms “Project Palianytsia” will be released for. Since the studio has mostly relied on multiplatform projects in the past, the chances of a console implementation shouldn’t be too bad.
Developers talk about limited resources
In today’s announcement, Frogwares stated, “As an independent studio, we always have to balance our resources and workflow to deliver our games. But the war has imposed significant hurdles on us and our established process. The constant communication and iteration between teams is harder to maintain, so we need a project where people have more autonomy.”
