If you’ve noticed that episodes of your favorite shows are currently missing from Disney+, you’re not alone. Disney has confirmed the issue and says it’s working to bring the episodes back as soon as possible. As first reported on the What’s On Disney Plus blog, the issue is affecting a number of games from Disney, Pixar and Marvel.
Missing Disney+ Episode Issue Confirmed
Here are some of the headlines affected, according to the blog:
Hannah Montana DuckTales Once Upon a Time X-Men and Wolverine Ultimate Spider-Man Agent Carter Big City Greens Proud Austin and Ellie Family Big Hero 6 Wizards of Waverly Place Bizarardwark Lab Rats Marvel Elite Force Rising Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Owl House and more
After user complaints started popping up on Twitter and other social media, Disney confirmed the issue in a statement to TechCrunch. “We’re actively working to resolve an issue affecting access to a subset of series for some Disney+ subscribers,” a company spokesperson said. “We are sorry about what happened and thank you all for your patience.”
TechCrunch adds:
Some members of the Facebook group suspected that this was a technical problem (which we initially assumed), while others leaned more towards conspiracy theories. Some have jumped to conclusions without any evidence, suggesting that Disney planned to move shows with missing episodes to Hulu, or that the topics discussed in those episodes were controversial. One member suggested that this was an attempt by Disney to stop people from stealing the entire series and selling it.

While these were interesting and certainly far-fetched theories, we now know that the streaming service just crashed and the team intends to fix it soon.
It appears that some episodes are slowly returning, but this is expected to be a long process and it may take some time until the situation is fully resolved. At the moment, it is unclear what exactly caused the disappearance of these episodes.
