A 21-year-old man who used a crossbow to seriously injure a school employee in the northern German port city of Bremerhaven was in police custody, law enforcement officials said on Thursday. The weapon was found during his arrest along with a shotgun and two knives, senior prosecutor Oliver Constien said, adding that the incident at the high school was being treated as a case of attempted murder.
