There are very few discrete graphics cards used in mini machines, and there has never been an AMD discrete graphics card, until now.
Minisforum released a new mini product “Neptune HX90G”, which introduced AMD’s discrete graphics card RX 6650M in notebook platformsjust released at the beginning of this year, positioning the mainstream.
The card has 28 computing units,1792 stream processor cores32MB unlimited cache, core game frequency 2222MHz, video memory with 128-bit 8GB GDDR6, equivalent frequency 16GHz, power consumption up to 120W.
However, Minisforum did not disclose the frequency and power consumption it set for the RX 6650M.
The weird thing is that the graphics card is the latest, but the processor is not the Ryzen 6000H series, butThe previous generation Ryzen 9 5900HX(Can’t get it?), 7nm Zen2 architecture, 8 cores and 16 threads, 16MB L3 cache, core frequency 3.3-4.6GHz.
There will also be a version of Intel’s 12th-generation Core, and the graphics card is also from AMD.
This mini machine adopts a vertical shape, with heat dissipation holes on both sides and the top, and is powered by DC19V, but the volume data has not been announced.
In other configurations, two 8GB DDR4 SO-DIMM memory, 512GB PCIe M.2 SSD (one slot reserved), 2.5 Gigabit network card, dual-band Wi-Fi.
The interface is quite rich, two HDMI (4K60), two DP (4K60), one USB-A 3.0 in the front, three USB-A 3.1 in the rear, and one USB-C 3.0.
