A 51-year-old man was killed in a single-vehicle crash on the Black Horse Pike in Atlantic County on Monday, officials said. Thomas E. Rogers was driving his Jaguar S-Type east in the area of milepost 42 in Hamilton around 4 p.m. when he veered off the road and struck a tree, police said Tuesday. Rogers, of Halethorpe, Maryland was pronounced dead at the scene less than 15 minutes later. There were no passengers in the car.
