As a Souls youtuber claims to have found out, Patch 1.04 for Elden Ring probably took care of the almost indestructible illusion wall in the house of Vulcan. It probably won’t break anymore. In addition, a glitch attack in the bloodhounds should have been fixed and the tutorial should now be unmissable.
On March 19th, the developers at From Software for Elden Ring rolled out Patch 1.04 after a short maintenance period. This update was for gameplay stability and balancing adjustments, not forgetting bug fixes. The patch notes are publicly viewable, but the Souls youtuber “Zullie the Witch” wants to hear some changes in Elden Ring that occurred after the patch was applied and therefore must be part of the update, although they are not found in the changelog.
Stealth fixes with patch 1.04
Specifically, it’s about the mysterious and almost indestructible illusion wall in the house Vulkan, which gave up the ghost after 50 hits and broke. However, this raised a few questions that Zullie the Witch addressed in one of her videos and generally explained the background of such illusion walls.

After patch 1.04 was rolled out, the youtuber went back to the Vulkan house and wanted to bring down the wall. However, this was no longer possible because it actually seems to be indestructible now. So that means a wall has to break in one fell swoop, otherwise there’s no secrets behind one, according to Zullie the Witch.

Another glitch that Patch 1.04 is said to have fixed undocumentedly and was also found out by the Youtuber is with the bloodhounds. With the help of this glitch, the bloodhounds in Elden Ring are said to have dealt several thousand points of damage when attacking. According to Zullie the Witch, this is no longer the case, although the four-legged friends are said to still represent dangerous opponents. As Eurogamer reportedit should no longer be possible from now on, the Elden Ring tutorial to be overlooked, as from now on an additional overlay is to be displayed in favor of the tutorial for the players.
