Stardew Valley with Magic: New RPG enchants Steam players

Steam’s bestsellers are mostly dominated by real blockbusters and the usual long-running hits. But real insider tips and small indie pearls shine on the Valve platform again and again. Now the cute RPG Little Witch in the Woods, which is strongly reminiscent of Stardew Valley, is making itself at home there. In the last few weeks, the Steam Deck and Elden Ring have dominated the bestsellers on the Steam platform. With the release, however, a new pixel-style role-playing game was able to move into second place for a short time: Little Witch in the Woods (Source: Steam).

The cute RPG is on May 17 into Early Access started and lets you slip into the role of the little witch Ellie.

As a sorcerer’s apprentice, you must follow the story to complete your training in magic. As you practice your spells, you’ll encounter many characters in the village with whom you’ll need to build relationships, similar to Stardew Valley.

Explore the enchanted forests, meet creatures, find hidden secrets and gathers materials to craft helpful potions.

Other everyday activities such as fishing are to be added later. The Early Access version currently contains about five hours of content and scheduled for full release in 2023.

The sweet indie game currently has very few reviews, but rate them 88 percent of the players considered it positive.

The simple Crafting system and the rich story stand out positively for most. The optics and user interface are also praised. Many have already fallen in love with the personalities of the individual characters. With a few exceptions, things seem to be running smoothly technically.
