After a number of delays, Digimon Survive got a release date. The latest issue of V Jump revealed that the game will launch on July 28, 2022 (at least in Japan).
Digimon Survive was first announced in 2018. Bandai Namco originally planned to launch the project in 2019. However, in July 2019, it was delayed to 2020. After that, it was finally pushed back to 2021. Finally, it was pushed back to 2022 last October.
Many hoped that the launch schedule for Digimon Survive would be announced at Digimon Con last February, but that didn’t happen. Producer Kazumasa Habu has revealed that Witchcraft, the original developer, has left the project and a new team has taken over. Although the information regarding the release date of Digimon Survive comes from a Japanese magazine, it should be noted that Bandai Namco tends to ship its games the same day worldwide.
