The Xbox 360 was released here in 2005, and continues to be used today by many players around the world who take advantage of its insane toy library. More surprising now, the console is still supported by Microsoft, and has even just received a new update.
Xbox 360 still supported by Microsoft
It was Eden Marie, Engineering Lead at Xbox, who announced on her Twitter account that a new update had just been deployed to resolve a pin problem. This issue has been reported by two people and should now be fixed.
Thanks to the two of you who reported that pins no longer work on Xbox 360 consoles (!). A fix is being deployed. If you still have problems after 24 hours, please let me know.
Even if this is not a big update, it is however nice to see that Microsoft is listening to the community, and still rectifying the problems that can occur on a console that is 17 years old. .
