While AAA titles often take up a major chunk of media space, many developers have a much smaller budget. To highlight them, some conferences focus on so-called “indie” games, made by smaller studios or even one person sometimes. This is particularly the case of Indie Live Expo 2022 which will take place this weekend!
The Indie Live Expo 2022 will take place on May 21 and 22, 2022
On the program for these two days, indie games, indie games, and more indies. The event will be split into two days:
- Saturday May 21: let’s play will focus on games already available, with information about them and gameplay videos
- Sunday May 22: premiere will show World Premiere on unannounced games, as well as new information on known titles. Live performances are also planned via the program Indie Studios Around The World.
These two days will be streamed in English, Japanese and Chinese on various platforms: Twitch, Youtube, Twitter… To celebrate this event, Xbox is offering new sales on a selection of independent games, the INDIE Live Expo Sale.
