Disappeared for more than ten years, and with five episodes to his credit, we did not really think we would see the Simon the Sorcerer franchise again. This point’n click series released on PC between 1993 and 2009 is about to make a remarkable comeback with an episode titled Simon the Sorcerer Origins. As its name suggests, it will be a prequel that should tell us how this young boy managed to put on his wizard’s garb.

For those who do not know the license, this is a game inspired by LucasArts productions of the time, such as Monkey Island or Day of the Tentacle, which was also released the same year as the first. episode imagined by Adventure Soft. And as the British developer no longer exists, it is the Italian developers of Smallthing Studios who will take care of this new episode expected for this year, without further details.
