West announced today that his new podcast “5460: The Joe West Podcast” will debut on May 2. The number represents the 5,460 games West umpired in the big leagues, an all-time record. During his more than four-decade long career, West, nicknamed “Cowboy,” had a checkered reputation with players, managers and fans.
