The Xbox Gamepass includes a catalog of hundreds of games – including not only well-known highlights from the first or second row. Do you also use the subscription service as an experimental field?

41 percent of the survey participants stated that they did not use the game pass at all. If we then subtract out this percentage, it shows that the abundance of the offer in the game pass tempts many of those who voted to get involved in games. A whopping 43.5 percent of Game Pass owners said they often gave unfamiliar titles a chance. After all, 47.1 percent rarely try it out. This leaves only 9.3 percent who stated that they never tried out a game on the spur of the moment.

If you have an Xbox Gamepass subscription (or, coming this summer, an “Extra” subscription to the redesigned Playstation Plus service), you’ll have access to a catalog of hundreds of more or less up-to-date games. The question now is: Do you play well-known AAA titles and indies with it, or do you also rummage through the abundance of offers every now and then?
Have you ever given a title a chance where you weren’t sure if you would enjoy the genre? Or maybe you have a look at more obscure and quirky titles like World of Horror or The Pedestrian risked? In the survey below, tell us whether you often go on a discovery tour in Gamepass and tell us in the comments what you have already discovered for yourself or why you are not tempted to think outside the box.
