Studios based in Bavaria can present their innovations at reduced rates in the ‘Indie Area’ of Gamescom 2022.
Maypole, beer benches, pretzels: the Gamescom beer garden, where the Bavarian game developers always welcomed their guests in the business area for smooth networking, could hardly be overlooked. At this year’s Gamescom 2022, which is to take place again on site in Cologne after a two-year pandemic break, the Games/Bavaria location initiative also wants to expand its presence in the entertainment area – and thus also address end consumers.
For this purpose, Games/Bavaria is working with the new Indie Area Home of Indies (IAHoI) format, which is being set up by KoelnMesse together with the Berlin agency Factory-C. A maximum of ten exhibitors benefit from a 50 percent discount on the regular appearance. Prerequisite: The studio is based in Bavaria – and the advertised product must be playable.
In addition to stand construction, the overall package includes exhibitor passes, soft drinks, cleaning service and participation in the Bavarian ‘Get-Together’.
Seats will be allocated on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. For more information, see the Games/Bavaria website.
The registration period for the B2B appearance of Games/Bavaria expired this week.
