At the start of a new week, the current retail charts from Great Britain should not be missing. While various PS5 titles increased, “LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga” once again secured the top spot.
In addition to the start of the new week, GamesIndustry.biz and the market researchers from GfK Chart-Track gave us the current software charts from Great Britain.
As usual, only sales via UK retailers are taken into account. Paragraphs about the various download portals or the corresponding stores are left out. As in the previous week, the brick adventure “LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga” secured the top spot in the British retail charts, although sales figures fell by 70 percent compared to the previous week.
While the PlayStation 5 version of “LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga” was ahead in the first week after the official start of sales, the title sold best in the second week on Nintendo’s Switch. The next places are followed by the PlayStation 5 versions of the two first-party titles “Gran Turismo 7” and “Horizon: Forbidden West”, which benefited from new PlayStation 5 bundles in Great Britain.
While sales of the PS5 version of “Gran Turismo 7” increased by 163 percent thanks to the bundles, the PS5 version of “Horizon: Forbidden West” even increased by 307 percent compared to the previous week. The sales of “Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales” (+302 percent), “Ghostwire: Tokyo” (+210 percent) or the “Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cuts” (+ 464 percent) on the PlayStation 5 benefited from the new bundles.
