New trailer for the craziest anime game of the summer

Probably the most unusual anime game of the summer introduces its characters in a new trailer. We’re talking about AI: The Somnium Files: nirvanA Initiative and yes, that’s the real name of the game. We explain to you why no anime fan should miss this game.

This game is a must for anime fans

Since its release in September 2019, the anime game AI: The Somnium Files has grown developed into a real insider tip. The critics were very impressed by the unusual concept. So came an impressive Metacritc score of 86 percent conditions.

A sequel, AI: The Somnium Files: nirvanA Initiative, will be released this summer. Matching the upcoming release date on July 8, 2022 Publisher Spike Chunsoft has now released a new trailer that introduces the characters in detail.

Additionally, all players will receive special costumes for up to three weeks after release. This is particularly striking the weird hot dog costume out, which can also be seen in the said trailer.

What is the game about?

In AI: The Somnium Files you slip into the role of special investigator Kaname Date, who has a fake left eye. In this artificial eye is an AI that the investigator helps with unusual murder cases. In the sequel, however, you play two new protagonists. The principle of the game remains largely the same.

A large part of the game consists of having conversations with witnesses and suspects, observing crime scenes and delving into other people’s memories to solve puzzles there. Because yes, the artificial eye is also able to do that. Which improves the game in many ways reminiscent of the popular Persona series.
