Oneplus is releasing a completely new series of mobiles, and the traction patch is record-fast charging. Promises full charge in 15 minutes – but the phone is not released in Sweden.

On April 21, Oneplus will launch a completely new series of mobile phones for the Chinese market, writes Android Authority. Oneplus Ace has a slightly different design from the pictures, and will also be the first phone on the market with support for 150-watt charging.

Already in February, Oneplus’ sister company Oppo announced that they were developing a technology for 150-watt charging that they call Supervooc.

Then the company promised that a phone with a battery of 4,800 mAh would be able to charge from 1 percent to 50 percent in five minutes, and that a full charge would take around a quarter of an hour.

But it will be some time before this type of fast charging reaches Sweden. Oneplus writes in an email to Ny Teknik that Ace will not be released on the European market.

System circuit from Mediatek

An earlier leak shows that Oneplus Ace will probably be very reminiscent of Realme GT Neo 3, a third mobile brand from the electronics group BBK Electronics to which both Oneplus and Oppo belong.

Oneplus Ace is rumored to be equipped with the Mediatek Dimensity 8100 system circuit and a 50 MP main camera from Sony.

It should place the Ace series somewhere between the Oneplus flagship phones and the more budget-friendly Nord series.

The first pictures of the Oneplus Ace show phones with three cameras on the back and an interesting design where half of the phone’s back is ribbed and the other half smooth.
