It is a rumor that has been around for a long time and which seems to be confirmed today: game libraries gameboy and gameboy advance may soon be added to Nintendo Switch Online + Additional Pack (the subscription “More” of NSO of which you can find info HERE.) This is in any case, what we can deduce by discovering the files that have leaked on 4Chan before being relayed on Twitter by @trashbandatcoot. We discover images of emulators gameboy (called “Hiyoko”) and GBA (called “Sloop“) developed by the French studio NERD (for Nintendo European Research & Development.) As a reminder, NERD, which we presented to you in this special articleis a subsidiary of nintendo that we find in particular behind the mini consoles of Nintendo, the auto-stereoscopic screen of the 3DS, the NDS virtual console and the Internet browser of the Wii U, the learning technology of the Dr. Kawashima’s Brain Training Program or the emulator gamecube created for Super Mario 3D All-Stars– more details on their official website. If this is confirmed, it is undoubtedly a guarantee of quality. For the moment, it seems that, although functional, the emulators still have some bugs…

While waiting for other details, find below some screenshots of the leaks shared on 4Chan. You will see some well-known titles like Super Mario Land, Golden Sun and its sequel, etc. Remember, however, that for the moment, no official announcement has been made by Nintendo and that even if NERD is working on these applications, they may take time to arrive – if they ever arrive.
