A suspended Keansburg police officer will forfeit his job and be sentenced to four years in state prison after pleading guilty to the attempted sexual assault of an unconscious woman. Nicholas Thompson, 25, will also have to register as a sex offender and is banned from future public employment, the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office said Wednesday.
