Forbes source informedthat Roskomnadzor plans to modernize the equipment that it uses to enforce the law on the sovereign Internet, and on its basis to create a federal system of protection against DDoS attacks.
The system may appear by the fall of 2022, the details of the project are being discussed with the supplier.
The agency also wants to increase the throughput of DPI equipment. Now it can simultaneously filter up to 100 GB of traffic per second.
