Police in London have arrested around 70 people during protests held by environmental campaign group Extinction Rebellion demanding an immediate end to coal, oil and gas subsidies. The activists blocked several bridges and roads and some glued themselves to an oil tank and to the roof of a car, according to reports on Sunday. Police also arrested several scientists from Scientist Rebellion, a sub-group of Extinction Rebellion calling for a climate revolution.
