The privacy-focused search engine Duckduck Go has now removed several major file-sharing sites, such as The Pirate Bay, from its search results, reports Torrentfreak.
Also known fulstreaming sites have been removed as well as sites that can be used to download Youtube videos.
According to Torrentfreak, the reason behind the removal may be that Duckduck Go may become legally liable for copyright infringement if their search engine links to pirated content.
Duckduck Go has not commented on it all.
