IT House April 18 news, according to phoneArena reports, after Elon Musk (Elon Musk) became Twitter’s largest shareholder, Twitter seemed to feel the pressure of the technology tycoon to seek changes. Twitter confirmed earlier this month that the company was working on its long-awaited edit button.

Twitter, as we all know, doesn’t have an edit button, so the only thing users can do is post corrections before negative comments start to arrive. But soon, you can hit the edit button and revise the tweet.

Recently, Dylan Roussel tweeted that he was able to manipulate the Twitter edit button before it was officially released. Note, however, that this button is not yet officially in use, which means it cannot be finalized.

To access the “Edit Tweet” button, you have to open the overflow menu and press the “Edit Tweet” list in the menu. When the button works, users will be able to correct misspellings and misspellings, add content to tweets they’ve written, and hit “update” to make appropriate changes to the post. Again, the button is not yet functional, and if you try to use it, a failure message will appear.

For now, Twitter says the edit button will first be available to Twitter Blue subscribers as a beta. The company will have the opportunity to make any changes it deems necessary before the feature is available to all Twitter users.

Interestingly, on the day Musk initially announced his 9.2% stake in Twitter, he revealed the results of a poll he posted on the site that showed a whopping 73.6% of Twitter users who answered his question thought want to edit the button, and 26.4% of users don’t want it.

Recently, Musk announced to acquire Twitter for $54.20 per share in cash. Twitter’s board launched a “poison pill” on Friday. A “poison pill” is an action taken to dilute the holdings of someone who threatens to control a public company. Twitter, which used a defensive tactic in a major takeover battle in the 1980s, is using it against Musk.

After the poison pill is in place, other shareholders will be able to increase their holdings of Twitter shares at a discount if individuals or companies buy 15% or more of Twitter’s outstanding shares without board approval. That would dilute Musk’s holdings and make it more expensive for him to buy the company. The Poison Pill Program will expire on April 14, 2023.
