With Resurrected, Blizzard has breathed new life into the classic Diablo II – and now patch 2.4 has been followed up with the most important and biggest update in eleven years.
With version 2.4, Blizzard Entertainment has released a major new update to Diablo II: Resurrected – and it’s the biggest and most important for the game in eleven years. In this, the developers are making extensive balancing changes to the action RPG and various bugs have also been eliminated. Some of these bugs have plagued the action role-playing game since its original launch in 2000.
Among other things, an error should finally be a thing of the past, which caused certain monster constellations to drain the player character’s mana unusually quickly, making them sometimes unplayable. And a bug that caused unusually high damage from fiery monsters is finally a thing of the past. The official patch log says:
- Fixed a bug that caused unique monster packs with mana drain to drain much more mana than intended.
- Fixed a bug that caused monsters with fire enchantment to deal too much damage on Nightmare difficulty.
The bugs were miscalculations in the game code; Blizzard promised last year to finally address and eradicate them.
With the balancing changes, all seven character classes were taken up and adjusted more or less extensively. The list of tweaks is insanely long, so we’ll let you know if you’re interested highly recommend the full patch log.
In addition, new recipes for the Horadric Cube were introduced, as were changes to set bonuses and bids. And by the way, on April 28th, the starting signal for the competitive ranking list will also be given. In short: Diablo II currently has a lot to offer even for long-time veterans of the action RPG.
