Mediatonic recently announced that Fall Guys will go free-to-play, along with its arrival on Nintendo Switch and Xbox consoles. But these will not be the only novelties, given that on the same date, for example, Fall Guys will no longer appear on Steam, since it will become exclusive to the Epic Games Store. During this announcement, via a live stream, the studio also indicated that they are working on a map editor.
Details are scarce at this time, as the developers have only confirmed that this “stage builder” is indeed in development. It will therefore allow the community to create their own maps, according to the imagination of the players, while bringing certain challenges, so that the community can get involved in the project. Eventually, it is possible that community cards will be implemented in Fall Guys, during the seasons. An overview of the possibilities can be seen in the video below.
Nevertheless, don’t wait for the feature to arrive when Fall Guys goes free-to-play on June 21, 2022. We should see the Map Editor coming later, once Mediatonic polishes it up. In any case, we will know a little more in the coming weeks.
