IT House has learned that there are four models declared this time. The single-motor front-wheel drive model has a maximum power of 160kw / 178kw and a peak torque of 300 Nm; the dual-motor four-wheel drive model is equipped with a torque distribution system, with a maximum power of 250kw / 290kw and a peak torque of 300 Nm. 600 N・m.
The length and width of the four versions are 4603 and 1900mm, and the wheelbase is 2775mm. Among them, two versions are 1658mm high, and the other two versions are 1654mm high, which should be the difference between front-wheel drive and four-wheel drive. The front-wheel drive version has a 178kW motor and a curb weight of 2,116kg; the four-wheel drive version has a total power of 320kW and a curb weight of 2,269kg; one of the tires is 235/55R19, 255/45R20, and the other three are 235/55R19.
In other respects, this car uses its own ternary lithium-ion battery, providing 87kWh and 63kWh capacity batteries, and the WLTC range is 430-610 kilometers. In addition, the new car will be equipped with ProPILOT 2.0 driver assistance system.
IT Home has learned that the Ariya is Nissan’s second pure electric model after the Leaf hatchback model and will be launched in Japan on May 12.
The Nissan Ariya was originally scheduled to launch in mid-2021, but it was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and chip shortages. Nissan said the model will go on sale in Europe this summer and in the U.S. in the fall.
