Jersey City’s Planning Board will hold a virtual community meeting this week to “discuss and shape” the language for the Sixth Street Embankment’s redevelopment plan. The Sixth Street Embankment has been the focus of a 17-year-long legal battle over parcels of land that the city has dreamed of turning into an elevated park, much like Manhattan’s High Line. The embankment is a vacant elevated train line that sits between Sixth and Fifth streets and stretches from Marin Boulevard to Brunswick Street.
