Free-to-play version will be released in June for Xbox with extras

The game Fall Guys will be released on June 21, 2022 for Xbox, Nintendo Switch and PC. In addition, Xbox players get some extras.

Epic Games and Mediatonic announce that Fall Guys will be free for everyone on June 21, 2022. This date also marks the game’s debut on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and the Epic Games Store – as well as a next-gen version – with crossplay and cross-progression enabled across platforms thanks to Epic Online Services be fully supported.

Fall Guys will offer 2160p at 60fps on Xbox Series X, while Xbox Series S will offer 1440p at 60fps. Xbox One and Xbox One X will both offer 1080p at 60 FPS.

The game’s launch also introduces Fall Guys’ busiest season yet, with tons of new challenges and rewards awaiting beans new and old, major updates to the progression system, and a new in-game currency called Show-Bucks.

Lovingly developed by the team at Mediatonic as always, Fall Guys will cement its place as the best game show on the planet with a massive amount of new content and updates. The action begins with Season 1: Free For All – a new season in which the beloved beans arrive en masse in a massive arena to compete for ultimate glory in new events and locations.

As a thank you to the Fall Guys global community for their support of the game since its release, Mediatonic is rewarding existing players with the Legacy Packwhich includes a bunch of fancy cosmetic items and the first free ones season pass contains.

The Season Pass is a new, improved version of the game’s free progression path, which can be purchased with the new in-game currency, Show-Bucks. The game’s free progression path will be retained along with the existing Kudos currency.

There are more treats to look forward to for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members. Three exclusive costume rewards waiting for all Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members: Robo Rabbit, Coconut Milk and Purple Hipster. One costume will be available as a perk for each of the first three months.
