Final Fantasy XV will have had a very complicated story, and today it is one of the least unanimous episodes among fans of the saga. But with all the expectation it aroused, it still sold relatively well, even if it took five years before it managed to exceed a symbolic milestone.
The 10 million mark has been reached

The game’s Twitter account tells us today that Final Fantasy XV passed the milestone of 10 million copies sold since its launch in November 2016.
It has therefore still not exceeded Final Fantasy VII and its 13 million copies (excluding remake, because the latter is at 5 million copies at the latest news), but it’s still a nice score for a title that has been distributed in many subscriptions for a few years , starting with the PlayStation Plus Collection.
It now remains to be seen Noctis and his friends will be overtaken in a few years by Clive with Final Fantasy XVI, which we expect to hear about this spring. We therefore hope to see it very soon, potentially at the Summer Game Fest or in a speech by Sony, or even Square Enix.
