Where to find the great vessel in Caelid?
To get your hands on this valuable trinket, you must go to the living pot that is located to the north of Caelid stops in front of an inaccessible arena. But reaching the great vessel is easier said than done: getting there is quite an adventure. You have two options.
For example, you can ride from Caelid Swamp towards the large arena to the north until you come to a large crystal and a seemingly insurmountable cliff. Now you have to get up here storm wind and put your skills as a jumper to the test: with courageous double jumps you can climb the roots on the side of the wall and get to the top.
But beware: an angry rune bear is waiting for you at the top! If that’s too much acrobatics for you, go the classic, presumably planned route: Via the River of Siofra. Travel to the Well at Siofra and make your way through the underground area until you come to an elevator that activates with two Stone Sword Keys.
A ride in the elevator will bring you back to the surface in an isolated gorge in Caelid. From here you now ride in the direction of the large arena in the north and defeat the gigantic golem archers, who will otherwise hinder you in the coming challenge. At the end of your journey, an oversized pot awaits you.
How to get the talisman “Arsenal of the Great Vessel”?
Once you have arrived at the large vessel, speak to the giant fellow first. He may be a pot of few words, but the conversation he is looking for causes three red call signs to appear a few meters in front of him. Each of these callsigns summons one enemy NPC titled “Knight of the Great Vessel”.
You can summon each of these knights individually, their equipment depends on chance. Your task is now to defeat all three NPCs one after the other. But be warned: Each of these knights has an impressive portion of life points and deals out heavy damage. So don’t try this challenge too soon to give yourself a chance.
Once you have defeated the three knights, you will be rewarded with the talisman “Arsenal of the Great Vessel”. Of the Pot NPC must be impressed and satisfied that you completed his challenge, even if he’s still tight on words. But the talisman is worth the effort, at least if you’re into heavy armor and big weapons.
