Murder-Mystery attracts thousands of viewers
With his new video Alex from House Hexagon takes a little trip into the past. Because like we said in the Stonetalon video, the creepypasta video about the SoCal Lady Killer is a few months old, but it really took off thanks to Asmongold and his reaction to it. According to Alex, his viewership has doubled in the last few weeks – and of course the fans want more creepypasta after the convincing and gripping Lady Killer video.
But, according to Alex in his new video from May 2, 2022, what’s the point of creepypasta stories if you already know that the story isn’t true before you play it? And of course, the SoCal Lady Killer only works so well because you didn’t realize before that this Easter Egg doesn’t really exist in WoW. That’s why Alex decided to make a new WoW-themed video, but this time it’s not creepypasta. Or in his own words: “This time there is no murder thriller, but a dystopian society that closes its eyes.”
The forgotten secret of WoW
The forgotten secret of WoW has less to do with the game itself and more to do with what US secret services and their partners in 2007 and 2008 for a danger in World of Warcraft (buy now ) and other online games – and how they (want to?!) use such games to stop terrorism, arms trafficking and other such activities. Alex goes through with you in detail an NSA document that was previously classified as Top Secret and which was made public as part of the Snowden revelations about US and other secret services, but then quickly fell into oblivion.
The bottom line is: Secret services came up with the idea – and they may have implemented it – for online games and worlds that we actually choose for our escapism, to find criminals, spread propaganda and identify threats to national security. Alex points out: The leaked document is now 14 or 15 years old. No one, including him, can say with certainty whether the plans outlined in the document have been implemented or have evolved over time. Nevertheless, Alex’s video will probably give one or the other something to think about.
