As the 505 Games Showcase took place this afternoon, the publisher showed off various games. Among them we could see Miasma Chronicles, developed by The Bearded Ladies Consulting. This new adventure was unveiled in a new trailer, as well as some screenshots.
Miasma Chronicles, release in 2023
The title places us in a world where the United States has been decimated by Miasma, a force destroying everything in its path. We will be able to follow the adventure of Elvis, living in the mining town of Sedentary since his youngest age. This one is accompanied by his “brother”, the robot visible in the images. With the help of a special glove, Elvis can control the Miasma which opens up many possibilities.
Miasma Chronicles will allow you to explore its desert world to discover more about its history. The developers opted for turn-based tactical combat, and decided to integrate RPG elements. It will therefore be necessary to improve both its weapons as well as the capacities of the different heroes to progress in the adventure, and to discover the truth about the origin and the nature of the Miasma.
Good news, Miasma Chronicles arrives in 2023 on Xbox Series X|S, Playstation 5 and PC.
