The driver of an SUV who was killed last week in a head-on wreck with a box truck in Sussex County has been identified as a Bergen County woman who most recently lived in Florida. Janet Esser, 58, was driving south on County Road 565 in Wantage Township about 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday when she collided with the box truck, according to New Jersey State Police. The crash caused the SUV to catch fire. Esser died at the scene and the driver of the truck escaped with minor injuries.
