Take-Two announced that the “GTA” series has now sold over 375 million copies, the “Red Dead Redemption” series has sold 67 million copies, of which “Red Dead Redemption 2” has sold 44 million copies. As of March 31, 2022, thanks to the launch of the next-generation version, sales of that game have exceeded 165 million copies, an increase of 5 million copies compared to the last Take-Two announced sales data. Also compared to the last data release, “Red Dead Redemption 2″ sales increased by 1 million copies. Red Dead Redemption has also sold 23 million copies. According to a Take-Two report, online microtransactions in GTA and Big Cousin 2 actually make more money. Take-Two’s fiscal fourth-quarter revenue was $930 million, up 11% year over year. Recurring consumer spending, which includes microtransactions, rose 1% to 64% of total revenue. Take-Two’s total profit for the quarter was $110 million, down sharply from $218.8 million in the quarter last year. GTA 6 is currently in development, but Take-Two didn’t mention it in this session. It seems that it is not expected in the near future.
