On April 15th, at the main forum of the Euler Developer Conference held today, Jiang Dayong, vice president of Huawei’s Kunpeng computing domain and director of the openEuler community, announced the latest progress of the openEuler system (Euler). Jiang Dayong said that up to now, the cumulative installed capacity of openEuler has reached more than 1.3 million units, and it is expected that the installed capacity will reach 2 million units in 2022. It is understood that in 2021, the openEuler series products will rank first in new market shares in the government market, operators, finance and other industries. At present, the openEuler open source community has developed 330 community partners and 8,403 community developers. As an open source operating system that supports diverse computing power, openEuler supports six processor architectures: x86, Arm, RISC-V, LoongArch, SW64, and Power. It is worth mentioning that at last year’s Operating System Industry Summit 2021, Huawei announced that it would donate the Euler operating system code, brand trademark, community infrastructure and other related assets to the China Open Atom Open Source Foundation. Huawei said that Euler has been completely upgraded, from Poly .
