Bloomberg insider Mark Gurman provided a report ahead of the Apple WWDC conference, which begins on June 6. It talks about the development vector of iOS 16.
According to reports, Apple is preparing us a radical change in terms of functionality, but the design will remain the same. The system itself will be very similar to iOS 15.
Gurman says that “major changes will be made to it.” They will include “new ways to interact with the interface and several new branded applications from Apple.” What exactly will change, Gurman does not say.
The insider adds that along with iOS, watchOS 9 will see sweeping changes. Previously, there were rumors that the updated watch operating system will include an always-on low power mode, improvements to existing atrial fibrillation features, as well as additional types of workouts and running scores.
